This is an original painting in acrylic and mixed media.
It is painted on canvas stretched over a wooden frame. The artwork size is 20” x 28” (approximately 50cm x 70cm).
It is framed and ready to hang, the frame is a soft gold leaf over black.

This painting has many layers and combines abstract elements with a more realistic representation of the tiger's head. The loose abstract background has been created using ink washes, acrylic, gold paint splashes and elements representing branches and leaves. The tiger is painted more realistically than the background but also includes abstract elements, brushstrokes and colours such as bright pink, blue and shimmering violet.
